NOW here’s a pair of boots that will be on your wishlist for the Spring.
They are called the Terradora and KEEN says they “fuse a love of working out in the great outdoors with a sense of everyday adventure”.
As you can see here, KEEN has carried out some beautiful photography to coincide with the launch, clearly showing how they envisage the looks that ladies can achieve.
Activity wise, KEEN lists these under its ‘City Streets’, ‘Hiking’ and ‘Fast Trails’ categories, with the brand actively marketing these to be worn in town and cities as well as on the trails. In fact, KEEN has even come up with its own workout category called TrailFit™ and says these new boots meet women’s’ needs between the gym and the mountain, the city and the backcountry.

The Terradora are available as low, mid or waterproof versions (WP using KEEN.DRY). Prices start from €119 for the low, through to €129.95 in the low WP and €139.95 in the mid WP, so they’re very well priced, particularly for footwear that has such a streamlined design, on trend styling and a diverse colour palette.
What’s more, they have been designed to meet women’s anatomical needs, so there’s a lower collar height that helps with freedom of movement and a cushioned panel to reduce the pressure on the Achilles tendons. There’s also a contoured heel lock that provides stability on unpredictable terrain (or when you’re moving at pace) and there’s a moulded collar and dual density PU foam footbed for comfort.
