ALDI ski gear on sale from 5th December

WE might be able to get a cheap ski holiday deals but what if you’re having a last minute panic for ski gear but don’t want to spend hundreds?

It might be worth checking out your local Aldi from the 5th December onwards because the store is continuing its Specialbuys season (last month it was outdoor gear).

Aldi ski gear, suitable for first timers and occasional skiers or seasoned snow lovers, will go on sale but it’s expected to sell out fast so don’t want until the end of the year to buy it.

There’s men’s and women’s softshell ski jackets at just £24.99 and softshell salopettes for £19.99. Normal ski jackets are £19.99 and salopettes are £16.99.

Tops are £4.99 and thermal underwear (top and bottom) are £8.99 but stretch to £19.99 and you can get merino wool baselayers. Socks are just £3.99, but pay a pound more and you can get knee-length socks made from a high quality blend of wool, silk and Lycra.

Ski gloves are just £4.99 and helmets just £19.99 and they even come with a goggle strap holder and they’ve been tested to DIN EN IO77/class B. Children’s helmets are £14.99.

Children aged 5 to 14 can be fitted out top to toe for less then £50 a child. Ski trousers and jacket are £14.99 and have a ski pass pocket, detachable braces, side leg opening (to make the trousers easy to put on and off ) and there are  flaps to stop snow getting in at the waist, leg and inner cuff. Kids baselayers are £4.99 or £9.99 if you go for the merino wool version – and kids socks are just £1.99 so you could pretty much buy them a pair for every day of the ski holiday.

Unbelievably there’s a lot of tech on sale too. There’s a HD Action Camcorder for just £89.99. It films in HD 1280 x 720 and gives up to an hour’s recording time using an 8 GB Micro SDHC card. It captures sound too with a built in microphone and has a three year warranty. Audio Earmuffs, for use with iPhone, iPod or Smartphone are just £6.99 and two-way radios are £24.99.
