15 things to do at the Telegraph Outdoor Show

HERE’S a small reminder that the show opens next Thursday and goes on until Sunday night.

It’s at the ExCel and a quadruple whammy because it also coincides with the London Bike Show, the Triathlon Show and the Dive Show.

I’ve had a look through the programme – there are 6 zones to walk through – and here’s what Adventure 52’s Dan Tye is going to try and in a day:

1. Visit the Telegraph Adventure Travel zone to see if there’s a holiday deal we can book up

2. Listen to a travel expert talk from the Telegraph Travel Stage

3. Have coffee in the National Geographic Traveller Café

4. Stroll through the Britain on Foot zone for some UK countryside walking inspiration

5. Buy lunch from the Small Producers’ Market, relax on the Village Green and check out the bushcraft skills in the Wild Britain area

6. Have a free climb up the indoor walls in the Climbing Village

7. See if we can slack line

8. Jump from a 5 metre high platform on to an airbag in the Free Drop Experience

9. Listen to a talk from the Climb & Adventure Stage

10. Have  go on the World’s longest indoor zip wire with Go Ape

11. Check out the sailing, kayaking, surfing and wake boarding in the On the Water zone

12. Look at the photographs in the Outdoor Photography Photo Box

13. See if there’s a good photography holiday on offer  in the Outdoor Photography Departure Lounge

14. Buy some new kit from the Blacks Outdoor Store

15. See if we have time left to go in the The London Bike Show, the Triathlon Plus Show and the London International Dive Show (Weekend only)
