Last weekend 10,000 runners ran through the mud at Stanford Hall Estate, in Leicestershire when they took part in the summer edition of The Wolf Run.

The Wolf Run is a 10km course with WOLF standing for Woods, Obstacles, Lakes and Fields

The course is made of manmade and natural obstacles with the Mud Sucker, a 40ft long mud bath and the Landslide, a 100-metre long waterslide described by Facebook followers as ‘the best slide in OCR’.

The Wolf Run has a festival feel and families and friends are encouraged to join the festivities.

Tents serve drinks and food, a giant TV screen, live music and there’s glamping too, making it much more than just an OCR.

AUTUMN WOLF entries are on sale now and start at £39.00.

The next one is on the 2nd and 3rd of September
