An 8-piece collection for 'on the way to' or between mountains

New ‘Off The Mountain’ collection from KlättermusenBrokk Down Jacket and Hjuke Pants

Klättermusen is launching their first ever ‘Off The Mountain’ collection of clothing featuring eight items.

The 8-piece collection has been developed for mountaineers to wear on the way to or between mountains.

The Swedish brand is becoming well-known for its functionality, environmentalism and unique Klättermusen aesthetic, which you can see clearly in this collection. They’ve also chosen colours that can interchange nicely with each other letting us mix and match.

The three hero products within the 8-piece collection include the Brokk Light Down Jacket, Hjuke Soft Shell Pants and the Arngrim Zip Fleece (pictured below).

Brokk Light Down Jacket

This jacket is made from Levitend, a bio-based Polyamide, 60% of which is made from Castor bean oil. It’s insulated using responsible down and is also bluesign® approved, a system that eliminates harmful substances right from the beginning of the manufacturing process.

Hjuke Pants

These are made out of 91% organic cotton, 7% Merino Wool and 2% Lycra, which not only creates a soft finish but also moisture-wicking properties and a nice stretchy feel.

Arngrim Zip

This is completely natural, using 50% Merino Wool and 50% Tencel®, reinforced with bio-based Polyamide, made out of 60% Castor bean oil.

The other five items are the Motsogner Pants, SS Ask Tee, LS Ask Tee, Bauge Zip Hoody and Suttung Crew Sweater.

CEO Gonz Ferrero says: “With Off The Mountain® we have conceptualised and created technical products for transitioning between mountain activities. The collection is not about trend, but rather a natural extension of our development process. We spent time to understand the needs of mountaineers when in transit, which is not lesser or simpler than the performance needed for alpinism or trekking. Our attention to detail, work on constructions and minimal impact on nature is equal, a process supported by almost 50 years of product development capabilities.”
