Chalet Colinn in Val d’Isere

MYLENE and Elizabeth love the outdoors, hence their five-year fight to reincarnate this fallen ruin as a luxury mountain retreat in the tiny hamlet of  Le Franchet de Tignes.

For daytime adventure there are the slopes at Val d’Isère, or Tignes, or the Vanoise park.

Or if you fancy something more challenging, just ask Elizabeth, an off-piste skier extraordinaire, for where to head or even ask her to guide you.

After a long day on the snow, join them for a gourmet dinner and then soak in the hot tub under the stars.

A half-board package with a six day ski pass costs from 700 Euros per person.
