The Scouts team up with Vango, Trangia, Wayfarer and Fuel4

THERE are over 435,000 young people in the Scouts and they will now all find it easier to decide which kit to buy.

That’s because the business behind the brands Vango, Wayfayrer, Trangia and Fuel4, called AMG, has just signed a deal to become Recommended Kit suppliers for the Scout Association.

It means some of the tents, sleeping bags, rucksacks, footwear, stove systems, fuels and food are now approved for use by Beavers right up to Scout leaders. The idea being this will help Scouts and their families choose the right kit.

The gear will carry a “recommended by Scouts” logo so people can instantly see which items to choose.

Derek Scott is AMG’s marketing director and says the Scouts fits very well with Vango’s brand values adding, “It can be hard to know exactly which kit to invest in when you’re first starting out, which is why this partnership is so beneficial to make sure all Scouts are using the best possible products when enjoying the great outdoors.”
